We are now into our 7th month of MyHATT dinners and 12 different countries and growing. The feedback we have gotten so far from members has been wonderful. The food has been great, the information has been interesting and entertaining and people have gradually started to really get the MyHATT spirit going. We could not be more pleased. It is the feedback that keeps us going. Here is what we have featured so far this year: January 08 - Guatemala (home of the Maya Civilization and beautiful tapistries woven over centuries) February 08 - Kenya (a country of many tribes and thousand of years of history and some of the most beautiful scenary in the world. March - France (the home of gourmet cuisine and fine wines and people that the Old Winer found friendly and very hospitable) April - Awwww, Holland...the Dutch...the Netherlands...a special country of special people. The Meijers shared with all of us a lttle bit of Meijer history as proud Hollanders. May - The month wouldn't have been complete if we didn't share alittle bit of "de mayo". Mexico has such rich tradition and the food was great. June - What a treat we all got when the Reasers as a family took on Japan. With their daughter-in-law born and raised in Japan and now having just moved to Spokane with her husband it was the perfect way to share some of her culture with us. July - The month has been hot but wait till taste the Uruguayan Cannelloni. Best you pull out your fanciest stetson and polish the spurs. August - Not so fast there...we still have some work to do.
